Whether you’re interested in a short-term saving solution or a long-term savings option, we’ve got a savings account to fit your needs. All MACU accounts are insured to $250,000.00 by American Share Insurance, a non-federal insurer owned by credit unions. Check our current savings rates.

Share Savings Accounts
A credit union's basic savings account is called a share account. Because these accounts show membership and ownership in the credit union, anyone wishing to use MACU's services must open a share account. These accounts have a $5 minimum balance. After opening your MACU share savings account you are eligible to take advantage of any product or service that we offer.

Money Market NOW Account
Get more for your money when you take advantage of a high yield savings account. The "NOW" Account is a tiered rate Money Market Savings Account that pays a higher rate of interest than a regular savings account & you may withdrawal your funds at any time without a penalty. Certificates of Deposit
Looking for a longer-term savings option? Watch your savings grow with a CD. When you open a CD you’ll receive a higher dividend rate because your funds are deposited for a fixed period of time. The minimum investment is $1,000 for 6 months. Check out our Certificate of Deposit (CD) rates.

IRA Certificates
We have Individual Retirement Accounts for every need. If you are saving for retirement, looking for a tax-deferred account, saving for a child’s education, or looking for a place to park that 401k or retirement payout, look at what your credit union has to offer.
